My Favorite Measuring Cups

Once upon a time I wasn’t really a measuring cup kinda person.

In fact, I’ve moved so many times throughout my 20s that I often couldn’t find (or forgot to pack…) measuring cups and have had to improvise. Besides, did you know if you make a cup with your hand, that little space in the palm of your hand is the same size as a teaspoon?

At least that’s what I read on the Internet.

And those cookies didn’t turn out very well now that I think about it.

But met I found these measuring cups and my whole outlook changed.

Gone is my old, ugly metal set with handles that are falling off. Mwahaha. You have been replaced. To the back of the drawer with you. (Hey, I would throw them away but I might need them someday. I’m a third generation pack rat you know.)

Thanks to my mom for giving me this set as a Christmas gift. And guess what: I got her the exact same thing for Christmas. I guess I really am a measuring cup person now.

Measuring cups from Anthropologie.

Yes, exactly! New made to look old :) You know, I don’t think I ever saw them on Anthropologie’s website (even around the holidays) – but I found them in one of their stores, back by the cooking things.
